Easy setup, quick launch

I decided to try WebJacket for a new project and purchased their e-commerce website builder. The onboarding was straightforward, and I had a basic site up and running in less than a day. The drag-and-drop interface for the landing page builder was intuitive, and I appreciated the pre-designed mobile responsive templates, which saved a lot of time. Integrating my domain was simple enough, and the SSL certificates were handled automatically. I haven't needed to use customer support yet, which I guess is a good sign. The analytics dashboard provides enough info for my needs right now, nothing too fancy. My only small criticism is that the overall design options for customizing beyond the templates felt a bit limited compared to what I've seen on other platforms, but for the cost, it's a good value.

Decent tools, some minor issues

I signed up for the turnkey online store package and it was mostly a smooth process. Setting up the initial store took about a week, including adding all my product listings. The mobile responsive templates are good; my site looks clean on different devices. I also integrated a payment gateway without much trouble. However, the client management dashboard felt a little clunky to navigate sometimes, especially when trying to find specific customer details. Support was helpful when I had a question about domain registration, getting back to me within a day. Overall, it's a solid platform for the price I paid.

Good for my little shop

I used the e-commerce website builder to set up my online shop. It was pretty easy to get started, even though I'm not super techy. My site looks decent on phones too, which is a plus. Got it done in a few days.

Can I use my existing domain name with WebJacket, or do I have to buy a new one through them?

J Julia 2 months ago
Totally, you can use your own domain. I just pointed my existing one to them, wasn't too hard. They have instructions for it.

Yeah, they definitely support using your own domain. It's a standard feature for most website builders these days.

Thinking of switching from Shopify to WebJacket. How does it stack up, especially for a small online clothing store?

A Anna Bennett 2 months ago
I've used both! WebJacket feels a bit more intuitive for basic setup, like if you're not super techy. Shopify has more apps but WebJacket has a lot of built-in stuff that you'd pay extra for on Shopify.

Depends what you need. If you're big on dropshipping, Shopify might have more integrations but WebJacket's pretty good for standard e-commerce with payment gateway stuff built-in.

Is there a way to try it out before committing? Don't want to pay for something if it's not a good fit for my business.

J James 2 months ago
Yup, they have a free trial. I think it's 14 days, enough to kick the tires and see if you like the interface and features.

Yeah, pretty sure they offer a demo too. You don't even need a credit card for the trial, which is nice.

Hey, do these guys ever have sales? Like for Black Friday or anything, or should I just jump on it now?

A Anna C. 3 months ago
Yeah, they definitely do Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. I got my annual plan last year during their end-of-year sale, saved quite a bit.

They usually have introductory pricing for new accounts too, and sometimes first month discounts. No coupon codes though, it's usually just applied when you sign up through a special link.
